From this, to proposed welfare changes, cutting back on wildlife protection in the name of growth and development..sadly feeling v politically homeless at this time with no real alternatives where I live

Need to be able to get out of any light pollution & often very late nights/early mornings! 🤣. I follow a number of sites to keep up to speed on chances

Doesn’t surprise me..I bought some end of season salvias a few weeks ago and they have put on masses of growth and blooms. Autumn colours looking fab.

Thanks! By now, a few of those plants should have died off. Nice to still have colour on a grey autumnal day

Just finished up all the sourdough so probably just some herby dumplings. Glad you enjoyed it, my mum makes a mean roast dinner too x

Sounds good. Slow cooker stew on & a good morning’s shift at the allotment. Now to finally make a dent in the backlog of photos I have to sort & process

That’s good to hear. Hopefully companies will improve the quality of the compost in general. Personally not had many issues & using it for years..just got my bags of Sylvagrow for my seeds which is my favourite for sowing in

But even with regulation it is only as good as how it is enforced. Many examples over here of regulators siding with business over customer

Agree. Some have very poor selection or information on growing your own veg..would love to see some more perennial veg plants for example.
