I felt the same tonight - just bunged some sausages, left over cooked new potatoes, frozen carrots, flageolet beans and onions in a pot with some gravy from yesterdays roast and a carton of gazpacho that needed using up - it’s in the oven bubbling away - I might have the energy to eat it.

Yes we’ve got a plug in one in the kitchen. Not sure if it makes a difference but think the main thing is that April the next door cat steers clear of this and Jasper feels in control of his space.

I read Class by Jilly Cooper when it was first published in 1979.
It was brilliant, accurate and made me laugh out loud. Not sure I’ve still got it so think I’ll buy it again …

Think they’ve published the price per kg for the steak instead of the price for that portion and added a zero for the price per kg on the mackerel. Inept though.
