Merry Christmas from myself and all of P1! We had a lovely day playing, watching a Christmas panto, and taking part in an Elf on the Shelf draw-along. Thank you for all the Christmas wishes, cards, and gifts, they were very generous and appreciated. 🎄💚

We had a lovely morning at our Advent service. P1 were very respectful and enjoyed singing along to the hymns! 🎶✨

The children enjoyed printing presents with sponges and carefully adding ribbons using cotton buds, helping to develop fine motor skills and pencil control. 🎁🎨

Today we had the Infant Area raffle! Staff from the area donated these prizes as a special Christmas treat, and it was very exciting! 🎄✨

Mrs Claus visited the class with a special wishing coin for us all! We sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Jingle Bells as a special treat for Mrs Claus and her elves.

We are continuing to improve our letter formation. Today, we revised some down letter formations. The mark making table has been super popular recently and I can already see improvements from all of our fine motor practice. ⭐️✏️

I was so proud of all my little stars at both nativity performances! They all performed so well and truly lit up the room 🤩✨

I will be sending some indoor shoes home this week if they are looking a little small, the velcro is no longer fastening properly, or they are starting to fall apart. Hopefully this gives you time to replace them over the holidays. Thank you again for your support with indoor shoes! 🤩☺️

Tomorrow, children should come to school in full school uniform for the nativity. PE will still take place but will be adapted and completed in the classroom, so children will not need to change into PE kit. 🌟🎄

We enjoyed making our Christmas cards this week! We showcased our beautiful handwriting inside, and on the outside we used paint, dabbers, and glue to create reindeer from our handprints. 🎄🦌
