Yes, I’m sure. I have a thing about books where I don’t like the protagonist. I find them hard going. I actually didn’t like any of the characters, so that didn’t help. The whole time, I kept being concerned that this is what my year 10’s were reading! At least they were reading I suppose!

I read it because my students loved it. I hated it. Protagonist who keeps going back for more in a terrible relationship. I wouldn’t recommend but if you’re already going in… Good luck!
