Here when not working, playing my cello, making music with remarkable elders, knitting, hanging with the people I love, pottering in the garden, walking the dog, or finding ways to critically engage with the world while holding onto optimism & hope.
I found this poster in an op shop last year. It led me down a little path to learn about Red Letter Community Workshop Inc: a remarkable alternative poster press based in Brunswick in Victoria (Australia) and operating under a number of different names between 1977-1991.

So, voting for @mon4kooyong.bsky.social - a true Community Independent - in #kooyong means being represented by someone whose voting record aligns more closely with the Greens and the APL than the Coalition. Sounds like a good deal from my perspective.

Sweet Tooth! Gus’s toddler jumper that grew into his youth cardigan. It definitely inspired me to make a Kate Davies fairisle cardigan. But Gus’s baby cardigan has definitely inspired me to experiment with Scandinavian two-colour designs.

Vest inspired by Norwegian Selbu knitting as documented in Sheila McGregor’s ‘Traditional Scandinavian Knitting’. Yarn is Holstgarn Supersoft: a light 2ply non superwash yarn.
