As @maddow.msnbc.com was introducing
@lawyeroyer.com's segment, she connected the dots between Trump's mass firings, pardons, reckless power grab & authoritarianism. Rachel noted Liz's firing was emblematic of broad, dangerous pattern.

(My sister) @lawyeroyer.com tells @maddow.msnbc.com
that Trump is testing the limits of constitutional pardon power. Current pardon attorney Ed Martin's mantra is 'no maga left behind.'

@maddow.msnbc.com to Liz: The contrast between your service and what Ed Martin is doing could not be more stark.

soulless monsters. truly.

Just despicable. Every day (hour really), Trump and his entire morally bankrupt enterprise continue to inflict unchecked cruelty on so many.

I've been thinking about this all afternoon. Cruelty for cruelty's sake, and it will have real consequences. Reprehensible, xenophobic, and *should* be un-American guidance from Pam Bondi to, as she clearly states in the full press release, "implement and administer POTUS' agenda."

Azir Harris, a “young father who was paralyzed in a shooting in 2018, and who had become an advocate for survivors of gun violence, was among those killed early Monday after gunfire erupted at a block party in South Philadelphia, his family said.”

Just devastating:

We advocated for and won huge spending increases in addressing the crisis and specific evidence-based solutions. This historic agreement is now in place that codifies so much of that work and the urgency of it-- lives are at stake.
June 27, 2025 at 12:28 AM
This is a *huge* deal. We established the Fund Our Facilities coalition at the PFT (with more than 100 members from all levels of government, labor, community, and activists) to not only expose the crisis of toxic schools but collectively offer real solutions.

Amidst never-ending horrors, and heart wrenching depravity, showing up (in whatever way you are able) and fighting back is more important than ever. (3/3)

I showed up to Norristown's No Kings rally with a heavy heart and was buoyed by the community that rallied together to, once again, fight back against Trump and his authoritarian regime. (2/3)

The other vice chair, who is not mentioned until the end of paragraph 2 in this @politico.com article would be the inimitable @malcolmkenyatta.bsky.social.

This cruelty, racism, xenophobia, and callous disregard for anyone but the wealthy few is exactly who Trump is. We’ve known this since before he rode that golden escalator and launched his first campaign. This statement by Steven Miller, while unsurprising, still took my breath away. (1/5)

Immeasurably proud of my
unflappable sister @lawyeroyer.com, and so grateful to all 3 awardees, and to @kerrykennedy.bsky.social for honoring them. (5/5)

Ms. Vizguerra’s daughter accepted the award on her behalf, and delivered stirring remarks speaking about her mother’s strength and fortitude, and said “but at the end of the day, that’s my mother,” and her family misses her dearly. (4/5)

The three honorees, @lawyeroyer.com, Maine Gov Janet Mills, and Jeanette Vizguerra are incredibly deserving of their awards. Ms. Vizguerra addressed attendees via video—because, horrifyingly, she has been detained for 3 months. (3/5)

@kerrykennedy.bsky.social presented the @rfkhumanrights.bsky.social award to 3 courageous women that, despite great risk, have never compromised their values in the face of the inhumanity of the Trump administration. (One of those awardees just happens to be my sister @lawyeroyer.com!) (2/5)

While Trump & Musk have a temper tantrum & continue to make a (dangerous!) mockery of the Presidency, @booker.senate.gov keynotes @rfkhumanrights.bsky.social awards, with a somber reminder of the fight ahead.

A big deal! Proud of the work we did at PFT launching the Fund Our Facilities Coalition and relentlessly advocating for and winning real solutions to the toxic schools crisis. (1/3)

My sister @lawyeroyer.com on @theweekendmsnbc.bsky.social: The Christleys claim they were politically prosecuted by the Biden admin, but the prosecution initiated when Trump was in office in 2019 by a US Atty appointed by Trump.

@jonathancapehart.bsky.social's response: Facts are stubborn things.

Beautiful scenes of #mayday solidarity and photos of some terrific labor organizers doing the work. Great pull quote from @phillyaflcio.bsky.social’s Maggie Mullooly, who is not only getting quoted, but also later got arrested amongst many phenomenal labor leaders!
