Certainly good scissors , good straight pins , extra sewing machine needles in a few different sizes, (heavier fabrics require heavier needles ), tape measure/s, safety pins ,extra bobbins ,maybe some snaps, hooks/eyes, interfacing. Ck out Lucky Deluxe website . Or if in the OC, visit them! 🧵🪡

Easiest to cut a notch by just snipping in seam allowance with scissor tips about ⅛”

You have to flip those pattern pieces over … (cut one layer of fabric , then flip piece and cut another layer ) and notches are matched up when you sew the seams . If that makes sense .
