Please give it a go, this pattern is so easy, the symbols look tricky but once you get into the rhythm it’s delightfully repetitive. And only one skein of worsted!

Thankyou! It definitely helps having a beautiful yarn to make a pattern shine.

It’s really soft and drapey, the bamboo gives it a lovely sheen. I’m also knitting on 5mm needles to give it some space to fall when it’s blocked.

I spent weeks trying to find the perfect pattern for my one singular skein that *needed* to get my mojo back. I almost didn’t choose this because I thought it would be too tricky (and I’m lazy) but I’m so glad I did. I’d like to knit a double length one for a friend next! Thanks for a great pattern!

I bought it from a lys here in Australia but I’m sure there is similar in the US, the brand is Phoenix. I do clamp the short side because the one clamp point is still a bit too wobbly for me. The biggest ball I’ve wound was a 150g 20ply skein and it handled it for the most part.

Please tell her I loved it! It was such a beautiful pattern to knit.

It’s a design feature 😂

That’s not even the true colour either. It was so much fun to ball up and then knit.

If anything was going to cure my sickness it would be the squooshiness of Mal Rios.

It’s got an oil slick vibe to it. Very buttery soft.

Now knitting a Sunday Morning Shawl by Espace Tricot, a free pattern on Ravelry with Bendigo Woolen Mills yarn, a merino bamboo blend for softness and drape, ready for when winter inevitably comes 🧶 www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

I then replaced my dodgy ballwinder so I could finally wind all my beautiful sock skeins and cast on a Travelling Woman Scarf which ended up being 2.5m long because I didn’t want to quit it! 🧶
