Morning folks - the holidays. Going in today to finish off some work. Yesterday was not the day I planned, it was tough and has left me feeling deflated. So I need to go back and tidy my desk and finish a few bits before putting on the out of office message

Morning folks - this is it - one more day to get through. Sports day yesterday was amazing. Today is celebration assemblies and then activities this afternoon. Lots of things to tick off today so it head down as soon as I get in and then 3.30pm! Them buses better be on time!

Morning folks - slightly achy legs today but the views were worth it. Today the whole school is involved in sports day. I'll keep checking in on my house but a day to get things finished is on the cards as next to no meetings in the diary

Morning folks - 3 days to go. The stressful stuff still has some distance to go but today is the sponsored walk and it's the first time I've done it . Weather not great but there's only the wrong clothes? And then a meal out with my team. Enjoy the last Monday

Morning folks - last Friday of the academic year. Busy day ahead but things slowly edging to completion. Some tricky things navigated, some still to do. But the end is coming into sight and progress is being made on lots of things. But definitely looking forward to 3.30 today

Morning folks - definitely slept better last night and feel like I've lessened the weight of some challenges. Today is going to be a whirlwind of activities as I have some deadlines tomorrow. And I would really like to get out of my office today.

Morning folks - tired today but felt like my team and I are edging closer to being ready for September. Still lots to do and also had some small wins with some young people yesterday which always makes me happy. We had wet break as well which felt very strange! Enjoy Wednesday

Morning folks - tough day yesterday as our trust lost a staff member, who taught my youngest, so sombre mood. And then some other challenges - really felt the isolation of the role yesterday and some difficult decisions today all while trying to work with my SLT on improvement

Morning folks - had an amazing night last night. Also ended up sleeping on the garden furniture because it was too hot. Now icing my previous skipping injury due to too much energetic dancing so day of enforced rest ensues!

Morning folks - definitely feeling 'headteacher tired' last night and this morning. Need to try and pace myself today and try to sneak some little breaks into a packed diary. Heat also starting to build as well so hoping for some fresh air at lunch.

Morning folks -its meeting Tuesday, after meeting Monday. Who said things slow down at the end of term? Late finish with the last govs of the year. More school improvement planning to be done today and some other meetings to prepare things for young people over the coming weeks

Morning folks - yesterday was great fun but not feeling it today. It may only be football and a footballer I've never met but it's my club and Jota was one of our own. I'll be fine by 9am but moments like this make me long to be at home. That's belonging. Enjoy your Friday
