So I took the two images and super imposed them ontop of each other in Krita and, well, they're identical - aside from the extra finger (After I scaled them properly anyway). You would think that there would some changes from having to draw that section in, but nope.

So hey, lets do something the original poster didn't do and compare these two images side by side - The supposed image that was originally posted in the telegram has a weird ass hand, yeah, but compare it to the one that was posted on his FA.

I don't see the Bulgarian treasure planet there. You clearly missed out on the best of the best

There's a lot better sources out there for this then me, but April's original design was based off of the artist's biracial wife.

The 1987 cartoon (animated by Toei, yes) radically changed many of the character designs and was so popular that they just kinda overwrote the original comics
