Your argument fails because republicans have no shame, no ethics, no morals. They bend their views to meet the people they worship. They have so entirely entwined their identity with being “republican” that they care more about the moniker than anything it represents.

Is it a good movie? No. Did I enjoy it? More than I thought I would? Yes. It’s a fan service movie with a few genuine laughs and the fan service is done pretty well
