As a gamer who is definitely getting on in years, and who is largely isolated from people (with exception to my supportive wife), this space is my most comfortable opportunity to engage with other gamers, in a respectful and friendly atmosphere. Individuals who i respect and appreciate. Stay safe.

Just rolled credits on Blue Prince. Such an engaging little story alongside quite immersive gameplay. And even though Room 46 was discovered, there are still reasons to keep playing as other mysteries need to be solved, and discoveries to be made. Took me 30 in-game days. (approx a week real time.)

During my Path of Exile 2 journey i am discovering something about myself that i am so proud of. I always just play games to my comfort level, and much of the time my builds are adequate at best. In PoE2 i am really taking my time to study everything - these early bosses alone require it.

Finally decided to deactivate the 'other ' platform. It does mean i have lost connection with a handful of people who are choosing to remain there but i need to feel comfortable. Blue Sky provides me a better level of comfort and reassurance. And here i have friends i feel safe to engage with😊

Decided i had waited long enough - my Path of Exiles 2 journey begins today. It will be slow and exploratory, the only way i can play games to get the most comfortable and enjoyable experience.

As i work on my small backlog of games before my Path of Exile 2 journey begins, have finally completed Sniper Elite 5, including the additional dlc missions. Felt good to immerse into some strategic and stealth like gameplay. Next up is Layers of Fear - long overdue. Happy Sunday friends.

Have wrapped up my time in New World Aeternum having achieved much more progress than when i played on pc. Proud of myself. With only under 2 weeks till Path of Exile 2, time for some PS Plus gaming. Starting with Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Early thoughts......adorable.

Sometimes i tend to just sit and think - today i will also share.
Next year i would like to:-
1) Make a start on writing my story (an autobiography of sorts)
2) Brainstorm an idea i have for a novel.
3) Possibly add a potential friend or two on Playstation - maybe try and become less isolated?

Nothing wrong with variety. Like with gaming, mixing it up gives us different thrills & perspectives. Depending on our moods, some music is beneficial more than other types. I do like instrumental music, and classical. Piano, guitar & violin in particular. Power metal is my preference of that genre.
