It’s almost spring, the Big Garden Birdwatch has been and gone, and the bird feeders are starting to fill with visitors. What better inspiration for a bit of glass work?
Goldfinches are among my favourite birds. As well as their vivid colours, I love their chattering song and their swooping flight.

As thoughts in my workshop start to turn a little festive, the mouse has exchanged the corn for some mistletoe in the hope of a Christmas kiss. Who could resist?!

Today, I’ve been to a needle felting workshop to make pumpkins. It’s great to have the freedom in retirement to do this sort of thing 😊 #needlefelting #crafts

Swallows ready to fledge earlier this week at RSPB Bempton Cliffs. They’ll have gone by now, I’m sure. Lots of wing stretching going on.
