Why are books so long these days? It’s off putting. Chapter books these days are always 300 pages + . We need to get back to books with short and exciting chapters. Bring back the enjoyment and build up to tomes!

The sunshine has meant some garden reading. Half way through ‘Babel’. Absolutely loving it! A must for any linguaphile.

I’m almost finished this one. Some historical fiction with lots of female voices.

We do, and I also saw this production this week- it was phenomenal. Sad it only appeared to have one Scottish venue- chuffed I didn’t need to go far to see it!
The book has also been translated into Scots!
