So Hernandez was convicted of crimes in/against the USA & that's why 47 can pardon him?
Surely, he can be convicted of crimes in & against other nations, too. Some without Ghislaine suite-cells.

When I was young, you could only BUY turkey for TG, IIRC they were about 20lb so there were leftovers for days & kids got sick of it.
Then awareness of fat content & nutritional info on products made demand skyrocket. That's not what happens when "no one likes it".
Tofu demand never did that.

There ARE people who give time/take salary cuts to do work they feel is their calling or gives them more satisfaction.
Even most congresspeople could make more in the private sector.
& some want to "contribute" AFTER they make their pile so don't NEED a huge salary, just to do something worthwhile

and so are for-profit that SELL items to those who may not NEED them, and charity organizations that solicit funds from people who have to sacrifice at no personal gain. They give b/c they want to help the hungry, & it rankles - at the very least - to contribute to a $1M paycheck.

It's offensive to give hard-earned money that we peons could use to pay someone $1M, no matter how efficient they are or how much money they bring in. We want this to be about CARING, not dollars.

Well, how about we forbid corporations to woo/lure/buy them and forbid politicians to accept "gratuities" & THEN pay them more?
Most are people who would do very well in the private sector & we need smart, competent people to lead us. But only beholden to constituents.

I used to, I was a "coupon-er" & years ago I got trial sized soaps/shampoo etc for free. I'd make up bags I could keep in the car.
At first they seemed appreciated.
