Reminder: Tomorrow Tuesday 16.12.25 is our Jolly Joint Jingle Jaunt. Please make sure your child has a warm coat with a hood for our walk. Children are allowed to wear a Santa hat or festive headband etc. We can’t wait to spread some festive cheer around our community! 🎄🎶🎵🎅

We used pencil to create outlines of trees. We then used water colours to create cold winter colours and finally we used black pen to outline our trees. 🌲 🌲🎄

We have been in the festive mood in P4DM this week - we have been decorating our classroom and we have been using water colours to create a Christmas tree art scene. These will be displayed around the school for our Christmas Fayre on Saturday! 🎄🌲🎅🎨🖌️🖼️

We worked in groups to sort the timeline of events starting with year 1 AD. We worked together really well even although it was tricky to understand.

We have been learning about what a Verb is and we have been identifying these in our reading texts. 📝📖📚 We also acted out some verbs in the class and our peers had to answer what doing / action word it was! 🏊👏🏻🎬

In writing, we planned an imaginative story with a spooky theme! We had to develop a setting, key characters and a problem/plot twist! Next week we will focus on the use of VCOP and using paragraphs to structure our stories.

Our amazing award winners this week! J did a wonderful job of using diacritical marking, E was very supportive towards others and L showed care and kindness by looking after our classroom. We are very proud of you all. #personalachievements
