Severely torn labrum here. I started taking it out at home 2 weeks in, a few hours at a time -keeping it handy to lean on when tired. Outside always on till month 3 (4 in crowded places); may use it forever in planes so some gentleman puts my suitcase in the bin. I am 6m and I am almost as before.
