A5: I try to give back as much as I can, and share cool stuff that I find so others can see it too. I've definitely benefited from others too, so it's a balance.

A4: For DigiTech it's Kings College London, CAS, and the Raspberry Pi foundation that have such fantastic resourses and insights. Learned so much from them. Also generally speaking @philosophyteach.bsky.social for his approach to rich discussions. Made me see things in a different light.

A3: That's a great question, I guess it's sharing ideas and inspiration and trying stuff and feeding back how to make them better. Respectfully challenging things. Sharing wins, supporting failures, building each other up. Teaching is too hard to do alone, we need to work collaboratively.

A2: Remembering! Yes, setting alarm would have been useful for this one (Mr 10 swimming lessons at the same time)
Also cutting out all the irrelevant STEM bandwagon noise, and also rubbish from people that think DT is what ICT was renamed to. Twitter used to be good, BSky is getting there!

A1: It made such a huge difference, starting in Primary and being the only DT teacher in the school, I relied on my online PLN to keep myself sane and reassured I was on the right track. Also the CSER community too from their MOOCs.

We had our Epilepsy PL/training only 2 weeks ago! I didn't know there were so many different types.

It was really interesting! The Y8 selecting for Y9 was all about what their friends had chosen, but Y9 selecting for Y10 was more about their own interests. #EduSkyAU

A5: I tell them to approach things with the confidence of a mediocre white man :D
But seriously, they do need more encouragement though. I try to build them up, tell them they're good at stuff. Eventually they start believing me! #EduSkyAU
