I hadn't looked at the shutdown this way but agree this is a possibility.

This is an abomination. I'm convinced he decided to demolish the East Wing and attach the ballroom to the White House to make it harder and more expensive to remove and rebuild. But remove and rebuild, we must. ✊

I don't have a Disney + subscription, but I did try to cancel my Hulu subscription this morning. Seems their "system is down" at this time. They suggest I try again later. Ha! I will!

Five years ago, I adopted a little 2-month-old, 2-pound cutie. He was looking out the window of the kitten room in the shelter, seemingly begging to be taken home (& away from that crazy ginger kitten!). He's a 5-year-old chunky monkey now & I'm so glad we found each other!

Just yesterday, I found the last Timex my dad wore in the back of a desk drawer at my mother's place. He always wore Timex, and in my opinion, this is a great looking watch face. I might start wearing it.

I see your St. John the Baptist Preaching in the Wilderness by Anton Raphael Mengs and show you Saint John the Baptist in the Wilderness by Michelangelo Merisi, called Caravaggio (1604). On display at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO. 😀

I bought a book from the White House Historical Association (non-profit educational association) about art in the White House. I wanted to have a reference book of the art in case, at some point in the near future, it gets sold off to the highest bidder or sent to Mar-a-Lago. Can't wait to explore.

I think Dems are going to have to convince the registered voters who stayed home in 2024 to get out and vote in 2026.

This panda position says it all - curled up in a corner in fetal position. I'm feeling this.

I really would like to know how he doesn't have orange tint on his white collar at the end of the day.

On this Friday afternoon, I totally get this panda’s vibe. It has been quite a week, and I’m exhausted, too.

Good question, given the middle-school-boy fight going on via Truth and X.
