I look forward to its demise and the falling emissions that will hopefully result

Today was the hardest teaching day I’ve had so far. This morning I was told about the death of my grandma, but chose to go into work (distraction always helps me). The students today have made me laugh on the day that the clouds feel dark. Feeling very grateful to be in this job! 🌪️🌤️

Planned and successfully led my first school trip today to Liverpool Hope University with A Level sociologists. We had seminars about aspirations and wider links to feminism within the subject. A great day! #ECT #geographyteacher #sociology

There is almost no chance now of saving the Greenland Ice Sheet, nor the West Antarctic Ice Sheet for that matter

This locks-in a ~12m sea level rise, which will eventually drown every coastal town and city

But do our 'leaders' care - do they even know?

Full circle moment today. Back when I was in Y8 I fell in love with geography because of a unit of work about the Maasai tribe in Kenya 🇰🇪.

Today I began a unit with my Y8s looking at indigenous communities across the world. I can’t wait to show them the best of geography. 🌏
