Today was the hardest teaching day I’ve had so far. This morning I was told about the death of my grandma, but chose to go into work (distraction always helps me). The students today have made me laugh on the day that the clouds feel dark. Feeling very grateful to be in this job! 🌪️🌤️

Planned and successfully led my first school trip today to Liverpool Hope University with A Level sociologists. We had seminars about aspirations and wider links to feminism within the subject. A great day! #ECT #geographyteacher #sociology
