Nesten 50 år etter at faren hennes angivelig myrdet henne -og minst tre andre-, har #DNADoeProject identifisert Rea Rasmussen som ble funnet i en tønne i Bear Brook State Park i 2000. Hun ble født i 1976 og var antagelig mellom 2 og 4 år gammel da hun ble drept.

Her family reported her missing, but there was no trace of Ms. Peroni for more than a decade, until a landowner found a skull in 1997 near the woods where she was last seen.

Almost three decades after the discovery of the partial remains, LE were able to confirm that the skull was Ms. Peroni’s.
The last time Teresa Peroni was seen alive, she was walking into a wooded area in Selma, Oregon, with a man she had been dating while they were attending a party on July 4, 1983. That man, now 72, was arrested last week and charged in her murder.

Utrolig nyhet I true crime-miljøet: Audrey Backeberg har blitt funnet I LIVE etter over seksti(!) år som savnet person!

Navnet hennes har ofte dukket opp når man har forsøkt å matche henne med en Jane Doe, men så viser det seg altså at hun valgte å rømme fra ektemannen som mishandlet henne isteden.

Last week, the Calaveras #ColdCase Task Force team confirmed the remains of Brenda Sue O’Connor from those remaining in a San Andreas Crypt. O’Connor’s remains were prepared for transport back to her family on Thursday, April 10.
