Here is the finished set up!

Given a known distance (marked on the floor in blue tape) and initial speed from the Vernier projectile launcher, determine the height for the hoop so that the projectile will pass through it. This class was successful for 7 out of 8 hoops.

I have taught 5 different versions of Hooke's law equation in my time as a teacher. (IB was expected to derive it from the spring energy equation and the work energy theorem). 🎢

I was so excited to see that my library had the new Oppenheimer movie. Finally got my hold notice, didn't pay much attention and threw it in the DVD player and... well that's not the same movie. I now know what happened and have a hold placed on the new movie which will be a few weeks wait. 😁

I think this is good reading for those who work with teenagers (especially teachers). It provides a great insight of the struggle queer students may have at home and with peers in addition to many other issues teens may struggle with. There are some trigger warnings for the book.

#NerdyTshirtFriday was unexpected. Student asked me if I went to Notre Dame. No, I went to NC State. They said 'oh, that's weird.' Um, why?

Apparently I wore a Notre Dame shirt when they face off my Alma mater tomorrow in college football.

I don't know sports.
