Our Sports Committee had their first meeting earlier this week and are already busy planning some exciting clubs for the year ahead, as well as a festive fitness challenge for the whole school in December 🎅🏼! Lots of great ideas from this hardworking bunch 😃 🏈⚽️🤸🏻♂️🎾 @carnwathprimary.bsky.social

Scooter skills session, some Primary 4 children took part in a scooter session. They learned how to scoot safely on the pavement and how to safely cross the road. Finishing off with fun scooter games in the playground

At gardening club today we were planting daffodil bulbs, harvesting carrots and trimming up the orchard. Thank you to Archie and Angus's Gran who donated 6 bags of bulbs which we hope will produce a fantastic display in the spring. @carnwathprimary.bsky.social

We have been learning about kitchen hygiene and safety this term. We have created handwashing posters, played germs snakes and ladders and explored ‘best before’ and ‘use by’ dates on food packaging! @carnwathprimary.bsky.social

We are learning about the importance of food hygiene and started by learning about washing our hands using a glitter demonstration. We also set up an experiment with potatoes to see the effects of germs on food! We will hopefully see the results in a week or so! 🦠 @carnwathprimary.bsky.social
