It will be interesting to see if (former prince) Andrew is mentioned in the files. A nasty, arrogant, inflated man. If he is then he needs to stand trial.

I decided to get a new hobby, growing bonsai from seeds or saplings. Great, except it turns out they will probably take 10 years to get to the desired outcome. I'm sticking with it, but I might need another new hobby! #bonsai

I can only watch with horror at the shit show that is the American presidency, at least he is not in charge of my country. But the worry is the problems he will cause the world.

I bought these bananas on Friday, the shelf only had green ones. I've just noticed the label, I don't think that they are ripe and ready!

Another reason for letting students finish their answers fully. Today a student got to the penultimate step when simplifying and I nearly said "which gives us 3x+2". Thankfully I did not and the student added an extra line, 5x.

Of all the improvements I have tried/ made to my teaching I think the biggest improvement has to be mini whiteboards, they are awesome. At one glance I can see the thoughts of the whole class. Probably most useful in maths where it is easy to see the answer. #edusky

With lower set maths I am really taking extra time to ask students how to do each step, and not filling in any blanks for them. It is slow going but hopefully it might stick a little better.
