All week P5/6 and P7 have been preparing for the Vex Go City Rebuild STEM competition. They had great fun completing the tasks in teams. Thanks to Leadhills PS for lending us their kit. @carnwathprimary.bsky.social

P5/6 and P7 were learning about Michelangelo and his painting of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. They produced their own artwork by taping paper to the underside of their desk. @carnwathprimary.bsky.social

P5/6 and some P7 pupils had an amazing morning with Emma from Sporty Spouts Club today. They learned lots of new games and skills and had the best fun! @carnwathprimary.bsky.social

On Monday P5/6 and some P7 pupils were learning how to control the Vex Go robots to undertake some lab tasks ahead of their Vex Go competition on Wednesday. @carnwathprimary.bsky.social

P1 have been creating simple algorithms to move Beebots around a track they built. There was lots of problem solving involved!

P3 of P3/4 have joined Sumdog today! Sumdog is our new digital platform to support work in Numeracy, using a games based approach. They have worked hard on their placement test and are loving the games tailored to their individual needs. @carnwathprimary.bsky.social
