We eat cannabis. It’s illegal in a lot of states. We drink alcohol. It’s not illegal but can be very destructive.

Interesting comments. I’m ambivalent about this. I’m very much NOT a Republican, but is it so bad to encourage healthy habits through a public program? People are generally okay with tobacco (and other sin) taxes.

Love this. Family medicine is a public good. Make it free for med students to go into TRUE primary care.

Hopefully they trust their family doc more than Fox. It’s a split district, and I think that’s a good thing. Might not be able to flip it back but that won’t stop me from trying.

My patients live in Evans’ district. Better believe they’ll know who took away their insurance.

I appreciate the comments about negotiating drug prices. Taxpayers save money. Patients save money. Pharma has enough money already. Seems pretty bipartisan.
