Difficulty wise, actually the opposite if you can believe it. Felt the difficulty was all over the place.

As for combat, the Sabbath system didn't feel as nice as All Out and the game lacked an alternative to the flashiness of Showtime attacks.

I feel like I spoiled myself by playing P5R first!

Played this straight after I finished P5R, and, I REALLY wanted to love it. I just really hated the combat. And I know you shouldn't compare the two games however it's just felt, dull in comparison. 🥲

One that I'll never forget is the trailer for the original Death Race. Remember seeing it at time and saying this exact thing. It gave away basically the entire plotline! 🤦

Lost Odyssey is an absolute gem and severely underrated RPG. Deserves a remaster. Never managed to get past the end of the disk 3 boss however. Desperate to replay at some point.
