My business partner of 20 odd years died today. Only 60, reminds me that life is precious.

Going to be a very long and wet drive home from the office.

I brought the boy a penknife from my work trip as a gift for an excellent school report. Swiss Army knives obviously the real deal, as I bought him the same model my folks gave me at that age.

I forgot that BA was such a terrible short haul airline nowadays. Late, no hot drinks, late, no food and did I mention late?

Worst day ever

Took out a remortgage for some breakfast eggs from the posh Italian eatery next to the office.

Always good to get the call to say my custom rolls are ready to be picked up. Rolled in Havana only a month ago.

My folks have given the boy the chess set they got as a wedding present 48 years ago. Lovely to have it here to play on.
