Enjoy life, don't sweat the small stuff. I'm a nature photography, among other things.
Today is a pooping day. Not a happiness day.

That's a weird way of fishing for profile views.

Please let my business actually start making money so I can get out of this rat maze and have a little bit of freedom financially. And if I have a little bit of financial freedom I have a little bit of freedom in every other area as well.

But yeah it's good to know that if I need help at the food bank, I can't get it. I can show enough evidence to support where I live to get a passport, but not enough to get food.

"Greatest country on Earth" uh huh. If you have to say it, then it's not true.

It's the same reason why a therapist that I used to see didn't take Medicaid. What Medicaid can do is go back 5 or 10 years and say actually we don't cover that you owe us that money which could put you out of business and file for bankruptcy.

Oh you want proof that you owe thousands of dollars, no. If you want to fight it and get a lawyer, well you won't be able to because no lawyer will take that up. Social security doesn't have to provide any proof that you owe them money, they just say it and that's the law.

If you don't have, you need not apply. I look at what SSI would pay if you don't have work credits, as to what someone would get if there was a minimum basic income. News flash, you're going to be below poverty. Then they might turn around and say you owe us thousands of dollars.

Regardless of the presidential administration, SSI for people who are disabled was terrible.

I hear a lot of talk about how it's cruelty to not fund SNAP. I completely agree, but the United States government has always been cruel. Democrat or Republican, the cruelty is built in.

It's like what SSI was or is I don't know anymore if it's still like this, I'm sure it is. People can buy anything for you except food and housing. However if you're disabled and you don't have work credits, your below poverty. So you can't afford those things.

I was looking because while I'm not at the point of needing that help, it would be nice to know I can get it if I do need it, especially with how terrible my last paycheck was.

I have enough evidence to prove citizenship status and where I live to get a passport, to get a driver's license, but not to get the help at the food bank. What a fucking joke! So I either have to own a home, not going to happen, or rent a place, which here is not going to happen.

As I recall, one of the solutions that was proposed during a shutdown was that the president could instruct the treasury to mint a 1 trillion dollar coin. That coin would then be deposited and the government would have money to keep things running.

There are solutions.
