Results 1/?: The clear winner for both of us was the Lemon. Ginger Spice put in a strong showing with a surprisingly delightful gingery overtone.
We were mixed on the chocolate ones although both agreed they were pretty crumbly in a “not great” way, and found the Cherry unexpectedly disappointing.

The cake mixes were very fragrant. Which I suppose is not that surprising. I considered getting a used hand-crank eggbeater from Goodwill but at the end of the day decided it wouldn’t add that much to the bit. But 5 batches did leave my arm a bit tired. The Cherry one particularly was a pain to mix.
