The unusual Rubus squarrosus from New Zealand is one of those plants people always stop and look at in my garden. The tiny thorns are almost like diamonds along the (mostly) leaf-less branches. Another plant that will be for sale on my stand at the Eltham Palace Plant Fair on 13/14 September. 🌱

The Tetrapanax at work is in full bloom with even some late bumblebees enjoying the nectar. I never noticed it before, but it is actually (pleasantly) scented too!
