We hosted a party when we first moved over, about 80 people showed up. 12 months later I was still getting through what we’d bought, which I felt wasn’t enough for the evening at the time 😂

The whole ‘they don’t actually drink’ thing has been very difficult to get used to. People rock up to a party and have one drink over 3 hours. Still don’t get it

I once ordered vanilla and was genuinely shouted at by the staff who refused to serve it. In my defence… it was Madagascar bean vanilla but still, point taken

Not super helpful but I wasn’t getting any UK SMS yesterday either. Had to plump for the email option for two factor. Not sure what happened there

Late to this. But for London to BA we loaded up on those premixed formula boxes (juice box sized) that you probably can’t get here and just poured those into bottles. But yes, I believe we had a number of bottles with us.
