And China subsidises the industry starting with the supply chain and ending with consumers.By all accounts China invested in its EV and US and EU combined don‘t come close to half of that combined. I hate too how slow and how far behind we are, but numbers don‘t care about my feelings or yours

Industries in the west are private and governed by profit. Constantly lobbying govs under the threat of job cuts, recession etc. China doesn‘t work like that. The private sector doesn‘t have much to say if the gov decides something. And China can afford it.

There is no singular „link“. You can read about China‘s economy and subsidies on multiple places. Just google and do a little reading. No blogs. Read established sources.

Which I already mentioned. That they got some. But that is nowhere near the amount of money the Chinese gov poured into the EV industry. It is taking out private sector all over the world. There is absolutely no way the private sector can produce and sell at those prices to be able to compete.

They can‘t compete. No one in Europe or America can compete. And not for the lack of trying. Many forget that EV industry in China is state subsidised. In the west it is not (sometimes they offer some subsidies) Which means it is a money problem. Not innovation or desire problem.

Maybe it‘s just the complexity of aws that turns them away when they start
