Out of the dept budget I bought every child a mini wb and pen and they keep it with their book and do now booklet in a pack. The ownership has probably saved me 300 wb pens.

We started the year at KS3 being quite prescriptive and telling them when to make notes (copy into books). KS4 have become better at doing this independently but still need to be told. A recent booklook highlighted books looking sparse. There are notes printed in the workbooks.

I don't see their value as a revision guide but know that Ofsted will judge them. Anyone got any success stories to share or point me in the right direction. @mathsjem.bsky.social @studymaths.bsky.social
