That's because people are addicted to attributions. It's another contortion along the lines of "said is dead". The speaker doesn't always have to be doing something to indicate that they're the one speaking if the reader already knows it, particularly when there's only two people in the conversation

I own, love, and have seen this movie dozens of times, but thermoptic camo only conceals the Major's body, which is why she has to strip in the film -- it's fine, her body's almost entirely machine, she doesn't get cold. I just now noticed the rope she's rappelling down wouldn't also disappear

I can scream about this, snakes are one of my special interests, but... I don't think you have to be a herpetologist or on the spectrum to get that a bunch of predators have got nothing to eat in a dusty crypt that's been buried for centuries. THAT'S NOT AN ECOSYSTEM (starts frothing)

Can't wait to see it. On a related tangent, you've shown up in my youtube recs again, but it's for videos over 10 years old. I watched your review of Disturbia and I had to double-check that it wasn't an impersonator. It's amazing how far your production techniques have come since 2015.

Fair 😄 Bandcamp streams but I only know two things about it via an artist I know: 1) he wasn't too pleased with how much they take for their cut but 2)it was the fairest deal he could get on a streaming platform he doesn't own himself (he runs his own site/server but ofc it doesn't get as many hits)

At the moment I had a character fall under a charm spell in spite of resistance and had him say "I never could resist charms"
