Thanks for the reply. I know they come with lids and netting but they are not used in the majority of cases, leading to waste ending up on the road. Other cities use wheelie bins for recycling and it’s less if an issue. Is this an option for Bristol?

I’m 55 and it’s been an issue since my late 30’s. I’ve been prescribed allopurinol, a life time control drug which reduces uric acid. It has helped and attacks have been so much milder. At its worst haunted me one every 2 or 3 months.

Same happened to me. Saw a rheumatologist and they said if it’s hereditary won’t make much difference what you do.
