I would have the same privacy concerns for both, that is the data in mails is always available to the company.
This is why I use Protonmail.
Anyhow, if those were the only two options, I'd go with Gmail just because I'm more familiar with it.

Wow, this is super nifty! But it seems like this library is for multiprocessing, no? I don't think that's going to help a lot since most of my code is heavily IO bound.

Oh no! My first disappointment: Bluesky doesn't support GIFs. This was supposed to be a timelapse of clouds on a blue sky that I had shot very recently.
