As someone who hires: listing what you know makes me read the resume. Listing the hobby projects you completed gets the interview.

As the father to a teen in high school, I worry about restricting phones. They’ll need to learn self control and not pick them up before work and college. It is a distraction, but it has to be learned somewhere. Unsure if school is the right spot to learn this, though.
