A woman who was 33 weeks pregnant was admitted to Craigavon Area Hospital with severe abdominal pains.

Our investigation found that had an emergency caesarean section been carried out it is likely her baby would have survived.

Yet, our new research shows people have low confidence in the NHS complaints system and struggle to navigate it. This prevents them from complaining if they get poor care.

5,378 children were living in temporary accommodation in November 2024, an increase of 121% since January 2019.
