It'll be less point and click and more 3D environments with tools to collect clues. We're also trying to make it so the player needs to interpret the evidence and make a case against who they think is guilty without a whole lot of guidance. I think we pulled more from Ace Attorney there.

Paper Mario was a massive influence for me! One of my top 5 franchises for sure. Im really glad it reads! It'll be more the aesthetics and less of the RPG, but Id love to make one like it someday. We're still working through the gameplay loop. Turns out detective games are really hard to do...

Oh you know it! Im a big Paper Mario fan and the train chapter from TTYD really influenced me.
Well, that and the Rawk Hawk of course.

The old version was a college project so polish to things like moving just weren't there due to time constraints. We plan on making a few varied animations for characters depending on who they are.

We are currently going through a second iteration with this project to tighten up the aesthetic and gameplay, add more varied animation and to improve the quality overall.
