One of the things I kept about her is my signed autograph of the book adaptation "The Great Race". It was another reason I felt like crying after hearing Britt's passing as she was one of the few celebrities I ever met in person.

My brother and I had the chance to meet Britt Allcroft back in late 2016 after our mom said she's visiting our area in Orlando, Florida as there was a Thomas event at the library. We met some of his friends (and other people from SIF) when that event happened and had a fun time.

I still remember as a child that my first exposure to Thomas was briefly seeing "Bulldog" where Sir Handel/Falcon was being pulled back, but I never watched a full episode until my parents got my first tape "Thomas Meets the Queen" that I was exposed to the Island of Sodor.

So I found out about the passing of Britt Allcroft this weekend. Ever since hearing the news, I can't stop but feel sad and almost cry. It's not just because she created Thomas, but also due to the fact that the show stuck with me for many years.
