I think the most depressing fact about humanity is that during the last few decades most of the world was handed essentially free access to the entirety of knowledge and that didn't trigger a golden age.

And now I'm sad.

The Earth undergoes cosmic cycles, defined as "seasons." Current data indicates Earth is still in the process of warming post the last ice age.
Do calculations suggest stability merely because a new civilization has emerged?
