Run your kitchen knives over a steel (3 strokes per side) before putting them away. Only takes a second, and your knives will almost always be sharp (and sharper is safer).

I prefer ebooks. It's like always having a mini-library with me. I'm never caught without a new book to start. For some reason, I never seem to retain audio books as well as something I've read.
