No surprise, as the BBC news/media is still on the right, regardless if the DG and CEO were there, or not. They are on auto-pilot, still pumping out right-wing bias. The exGB News boss, who is now Director of BBC News programmes is still in situ'. Why didn't he resign?.

The BBC moved to the right. After 14 years of Conservative Government, Tory influence has penetrated the news and politics depts of the BBC. Senior bosses are reflective of this. They even agreed to promote the hard right Reform Party, on the news and drama. Bias and a breach of the BBC charter.

What sanction is imposed on wayward 'newspapers' by IPSO. None - it's a joke organisation. Hefty fines would concentrate the minds of these rags, but media are represented in so called 'watchdogs'.

The BBC is not privately owned, unlike the rest of the media, that's why it is critical that it stands aloof from the right-wing corruption that has penetrated the corporation. It should be the beacon that sets the standards of high quality news. It has failed under conservative tutelage.

Fine words, but the reality is most of the news media is owned by press/media barons who don't even live in the UK. They're a platfom for the Conservatives & now Reform too. The BBC has been captured by the right which is corrupting it from within & doing it's utmost to destabilise the Labour Govt.

The game has changed. Now, it is the word of the press baron and media mogul, that control the news media. It's is widespread and sophisticated, compared to generations ago. They can buy a Government they want, though mass media and propaganda. Private power is the road to dictatorship.

Trump is an impossible creature to deal with. He doesn't live in a civilised world. His mindset, is in his own version of the world and how he would like it run. Authoritarian and cruel, where his word, is the only right one.

It seems some Democrats, don't understand the evil that the Trump administration represents. These aren't the Republicans of 50 years ago. They've gone. We now have a supine GOP, that bows to the will of their Supreme leader & his fanatics. Like the Nazis, if you ignore them they will NOT go away!.

Add in the furore in the media over migrant hotels etc. and then look at what caused it. Brexit and the resultant flood of migrants and massive increase in hotel use by the Tories.
