It's an adjustment, but stick with it dear. Just wait until someone's being annoying and you get to:
a) take them off with one hand,
b)pinch the bridge of your nose with the other (screwed up eyes optional),
c) let out a massive sigh and put them back on.

I have my own takes on what's ethical, but when it comes to older platforms, I fail to see how buying an original disc/cart from a reseller benefits the people who made it.

And how exactly do you propose the Nov. 4th elections are to be held when the government is in "shutdown"? He's already stolen and destroyed your democracy. You're not gonna be able to rebuild it without bloodshed.

The state can't give you #freespeech and the state can't take it away. You're born with it. #Freedom is something you assume and then when someone tries to take it away, the degree to which you #resist is the degree to which you are free.

I kinda love this. Especially when you look at the level of detail they went into designing it, compared to how that translates on the pixel art sprites. I'd never have noticed if it wasn't pointed out, I'm rushing for the Heavy Machine Gun asap anyway.

This is a great illustration of creativity in the 90's. R-Type, Gradius and 194-series were chasing the same audience with similar game mechanics; but even now, none of them feel like shovelware clones. A modern dev would throw all of their features into one game and come out with a mess.

It wasn't something I knew/cared about until a few years ago tbh. Now I notice. I've got
my Dreamcast and MiSTer hooked up to a CRT PC monitor and it's bloody gorgeous.
