It seems weird that copying an opponent’s overloaded spell wouldn't be overloaded(since *you* didn't choose to pay it) and have it fizzle due to having 0 targets chosen for it

@wotcmatt.bsky.social Does Zinnias new text of "Creature spells you cast gain offspring {2} as you cast them." Not clash with both 601.2i and 611.3d? The 611.3d issue is minor and only matters if zinnia dies before the spell resolves, but applying offspring after the spell is already announced isn't

@wotcmatt.bsky.social Does energybending give every basic land type in addition to its other types, or does it override the land types? "gains [types]" isn't really defined in the rules and only previously existed for "gains all creature types" where the difference didn't matter.

@magikids.bsky.social If shorika is errata'd to remove the last line that lets if be your commander because of the upcoming commander rule change, would that mean you couldn't use it as a general anymore in oathbreaker?

@wotcmatt.bsky.social Is impending being changes to say "if you chose to pay this spell’s impending cost" functional? Will it enter as a creature if an opponent copies or gains control of the spell?

@wotcmatt.bsky.social Is 800.4d intended to cause the triggered abilities that are prevented from being put onto the stack of a player that has left the game to cease to exist? It doesn't seem to do that and just says they aren't put onto the stack.
