The entire conversation around this section is my favorite part of the first draft. I was meandering around until reaching this point, and from then on I locked in.
An excerpt from the first draft of my fantasy novel. Two characters are speaking. Epicus is a dracofolk, and is being defensive in an argument with Ilku, a type of raptorfolk. Ilku expresses their distrust of Epicus and their government of the "Commonwealth", because its past reincarnation was a crusader movement that blew up their islands. Because Ilku's people experience rebirth, they can still remember the day it happened, even centuries later when it is only a historical note for Epicus.

It was a lot of fun writing a novella summarizing our five-year campaign in this world. It evolved a lot from the early days, but I still use mspaint!

Sometimes i forget in specifics the dialogue/descriptions i wrote and when i go back to reorient it makes me laugh
A description of what seems like a big scary instructor lady, but she's revealed to be a little gnome. (She still turns out to be as scary as the description) Two gays discuss the merits of mechanical typewriters vs magical writing spells. Midonax is revealed to be snobby and wants to look like he handwrites everything while wanting a typewriter.

My cute office in House Flipper! This game is so FUN and CUTE
A small studio office and bedroom. The walls are a copper color and the wood furniture is a darker red cherry wood. There's a dog bed and a pomeranian sitting next to a rubber bone. In the domestic and slightly gaudy decorations there's an artistic Renaissance style painting oif decapitated heads right behind the main desk, where clients would stare at it when meeting with me. A shot of the front of the office. The curtains are a darker red-orange. Two automatic dog water and food bowels are on the floor. The floor is a darker wood paneling. There's a clock right above the entrance that I can stare at when meeting with clients, over and behind their heads.
