Though, I would say that Tessa getting shit on for the whole year was a highlight for the company as it brought the fandom together to get on her for not apologizing all the way for her past behavior and developing as a human. /3

Just now realize that once I pointed out that main shows has been mid, but NXT is fine. Triple H is now in the same position Vince was in several years ago with Shawn now in Triple H's old position 🙃

Doesn't help that his bad habits from booking NXT came back from the dead quickly.

All and all, this was a good year for wrestling contrary to belief/narratives running around. WWE had a rough year and TNA had messy year that was saved from being mid thanks to the TV deal announcement.

Curious to see how things turn out next year.

MLW and NWA don't get discussed much on social media. MLW for one had a decent year and with Fusion coming back, it could mean the rebuild period is coming to an end. NWA (along with WOW) landing on the Roku Channel was a big surprise to everyone this year and that's all I got for them.

With them getting the TV deal with AMC, they don't have a choice, but to lock in because with them being back on basic cable means more eyes are on them again, so creative and booking (Delirious) can't coast around this time.

TNA is the odd ball in this one as they was still business as usual up until March due to the management changes, since then, discussions about them became the most toxic since the pre rebuild days imo. Monthly special are a hit or miss, same with weekly shows, PPVs kinda carried them this year. /1

AEW made a big turn around this year after the later half of last year felt a bit stale imo. Ain't else much to say other than wanting to see them hit up more bigger venues in the future for their weekly shows. ROH is still business as usual with their PPVs still being must see.

Sadly, Warner Bros wouldn't have to put themselves up for sale, if the Ellisons wasn't so hell bent on getting them right after getting Paramount.

But here's the thing you don't get, TNA heading to AMC doesn't matter if the industry leader is having a bad year 🙄

If Sega can’t get SNK, then I vouch for Koei Tecmo. At least they’ll have someone to bring back Dead or Alive.

I know the article was made back in 2023 as Bellator doesn't exist anymore, but I'm sure TKO's sentiment to Anthem (Invicta FC and TNA) hasn't change since.

Funny enough Sendai is easy to find when it comes to watching their product, I forgot about them. Same with Marigold. However, All Japan is kinda hard for me to find, which is why I didn't name them.

If you still interested in sports entertainment, but without WWE, then there's NWA. It's okay at best, but not as bad as it was during the Tyrus world champion era.

There's AEW/ROH, MLW and TNA to choose from. I also would recommended CMLL, NJPW, NOAH, DDT, Stardom and TJPW. For the indies, GCW, DPW, Wrestling Revolver and Prestige are a good start.

They only saying "who" to those three because they're mad that they can't push tribalism. Those "fans" had 3 years to watch Speedball and 6 years to watch both Josh and Ace on TNA, they never cared.

Either Dyad or Katamari Damacy
September 7, 2025 at 11:43 PM
Since the management changed last year, a lot of the "fans" suddenly start glazing Anthem, while shit on Scott and others whom helped the company during it's 5 year rebuild.

If Sega didn’t make the 32X, the r&d could’ve gone to the Saturn to make it a better system 3D wise, which would later help the Dreamcast.
