Especially when it's a game. Like this ain't groceries at a Walmart/Target. This isn't food, water, or shelter. It's a game.

Depending on the crime and your reaction they'd just kill you xD.
Do you want due process? There was this one RPG that had a bounty system and if you killed another player they didn't lose their equipment. Just their resources.

I'm thinking it's more of an afterthought. If the main goal of the game was to pickpocket and not just steal then there'd be a hyper focus on making pickpocketing more of a skill check.

It would be awkward to gatekeep the literal artist via paywall. Unlike a t-shirt you made the entire digital product so being able to use it would be nice. Especially if the artists themselves don't really stream.
