tbh i dont even bother with edge on a new install. one trick i do is win+r and type "hh librewolf.net" to get the browser using the good ol MSHTML.DLL

for the av port removal, i used chipquik (low temp solder) and a hot air station and it removed without too much trouble, and tinfoil + kapton for isolation of the surrounding componants

biggest tip you can have about any project involving soldering is this: patience. it took me 5 days to install the stellar/hd+ as i watched multiple videos of how people installed the mod and i still almost ruined my box cause i put too much solder and a blob forged under the encoder IC pins
